No Bolty I just think people are thinking so fucking what... he goes to everywhere that has all the best resources and dosh so of course he is going to be successful.... maybe he would want a real challenge in his life and manage a team like Forest or Derby and get them to win the Prem (ala the greatest manager ever)

Quite right bolty and it's good to see you're in top position you deserve too.

White no sugar please

Amusing seeing people slag off a class manager for taking over a class club.

If anyone who is decent at their job, got offered a top position which they deserved they wouldn't turn it down.

Some right morons on here.

I don't deny that, but what I said there was bang on the button, unless you want to argue a point.

Bang on.

If he can win the league with a Southampton, West Ham, Newcastle I'd be more inclined to hail him as a genius.

Any competent manager could win the league with Barcelona or Bayern.

Re: Pep taking over at man city in the summer
Bilic takes on challenges like his small nation, a smaller club in Moscow, a smaller club in Istanbul, and now, with all due respect to ourselves, a smaller club in London, and relishes making them better and giving bloody noses to the bigger clubs and nations.

What we are talking about here is Slaven's unfeasibly large gonads that he carries in a wheelbarrow.

Doug Stanhope once brilliantly described supporting the BIG clubs is like going into a casino and supporting the house against the punters. What we're talking about here is Pep's ridiculously tiny balls his wife carries around in her handbag.

I wouldn't swap Bilic for a dozen Peps.

I'm sure he's a decent manager but he hasn't exactly challenged himself... always gone into the very top clubs with the most money to spend.... I make him a lucky fucker.

Re: Pep taking over at man city in the summer

Not taking anything away from Guardiola but that's a slight re-writing of history.

It was Rijkard who turned round Barcelona's fortunes, winning back-to-back league titles and the Champions League. Admittedly they had a couple of (relatively) barren seasons prior to Guardiola taking over, but they were still a very good side.

I'm looking forward to him managing in England and reckon he'll be a huge success. As refreshingly competitive as the Prem is this season, we do actually need some English teams to prosper in the Champions League. After all, we want there to be a spot available to us for when we nab 4th place in the near future.

Off Charlton. The STEVENAGE BOROUGH job is available. Surely he'd want to 'do a napoli' with them?

Yeah where the fuck is his ambition. One of the richest clubs in the world wants him, and at the same time he could go to CHARLTON ATHLETIC.

Unambitious wanker.

Agree. It's the opposite of Klopp, who put himself out there by taking the Liverpool job which is obviously a huge project, when there's no doubt he could probably have walked into a job at almost any top club in Europe.

Re: Pep taking over at man city in the summer
Best manager in europe at the moment is probably Sarri at Napoli.

Absolutely amazing career - what a story.
